Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor to inspire and motivate members on their fitness journeys. This dynamic role combines personalized training sessions with engaging group classes, fostering a vibrant and supportive fitness environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics, along with the ability to design effective fitness programs tailored to diverse client needs. Duties Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions, assessing clients’ fitness levels and creating customized workout plans that incorporate elements like CrossFit, Pilates, Yoga, cycling, or dance-based routines. Lead energetic group fitness classes such as aerobics, body mechanics workshops, sports coaching sessions, or specialized programs like kickboxing and circuit training. Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and the importance of physiology and anatomy principles in workout design. Promote a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages participation and helps clients reach their fitness milestones. Maintain detailed records of client progress, session plans, and program adjustments to ensure continuous improvement. Support gym operations by assisting with member inquiries, fitness sales efforts, and promoting upcoming classes or programs. Stay current with industry trends and certifications to enhance program offerings and personal expertise. Experience Proven experience in personal training or group fitness instruction within a health club or gym setting. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise science to develop safe and effective workouts. Demonstrated ability to teach a variety of fitness modalities including yoga, Pilates, cycling, dancing, CrossFit, or sports coaching. Experience designing tailored fitness programs that address individual goals such as weight loss, strength building, flexibility improvement or athletic performance enhancement. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants in a lively and engaging manner. Certification in personal training or group fitness instruction from recognized organizations is highly preferred; additional skills in health club management or fitness sales are advantageous.
