We’re looking for a full-time Dog Kennel Attendant / Pet Care Attendant who wants to be part of a team that shows up, works hard, and takes pride in providing consistent, high-quality care . This is not a casual position. It’s a role for someone who understands that reliability, attention to detail, and follow-through matter —for the pets, for our clients, and for the team. Schedule & Commitment 30–40 hours per week 4 - 5 days a week Some opening shifts start at 6:30am and closing shifts end at 7pm Weekends required Holidays required We are looking for someone seeking a long-term role . What You’ll Be Doing This is a hands-on, active role that is part pet care, part teamwork, and part keeping a high-standard facility running smoothly. Daily responsibilities include Managing and supervising small, curated dog playgroups Feeding pets, administering medications, and following detailed care instructions Monitoring behavior and ensuring safe, balanced group dynamics Providing attentive care to both dogs and cats in boarding Supporting customer check-ins, check-outs, and communication Maintaining a clean, organized facility (kennels, yards, laundry, dishes, floors) Completing closing routines and setting the next day up for success Reading and following run cards and notes carefully—details matter here What We Value We’re looking for someone who: Is reliable, punctual, and consistent Takes pride in doing things the right way, even when it’s busy Communicates clearly and works well as part of a tight-knit team Is comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active environment Can work indoors and outdoors in all weather Is calm, aware, and confident when handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments Pays attention to details and follows instructions closely Is willing to clean thoroughly and keep shared spaces to a high standard Our Standard Our clients choose Dog Dayz because they want more than basic care—they want a place where their pets are known, closely looked after, and returned happy, healthy, and well cared for.
