PET/CT Technologist - Toms River, NJ (#3409) Location: Toms River, NJ Employment Type: Full-time Hourly Rate: $58 per hour Position Overview: Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a full-time PET/CT Technologist to join an Imaging Office at a Radiology Group in Toms River, NJ. This role requires an experienced professional proficient in PET/CT fusion imaging and nuclear medicine, responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment such as PET scanners to create images of the body's internal functions and structures. Siemens Biographe PET/CT experience is preferred. Why Join Us? Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology program Licensure: NJDEP State License required; CPR Certification required; ARRT(CT) or NMTCB/CT for Fusion Modality required; ARRT(N) or NMTCB(N) Certification required Experience: A minimum of two years of experience as a PET/CT Technologist; Siemens Biographe PET/CT experience preferred Technical Skills: May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment such as PET scanners to create images of the body's internal functions and structures Prepare and administer radioactive drugs to patients with accuracy and care Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures Operate PET/CT imaging equipment according to established protocols Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to radiation safety protocols Adhere to all department and facility safety protocols, especially when working in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment Maintain required certifications (NJDEP State License, ARRT/NMTCB, CPR) and stay current with industry standards Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members as needed May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment
