Recent experience with dogs and cats, whether volunteer, professional, or with personal pets. Comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Be a professional-minded adult, aged 21 or older. Extremely reliable and punctual, trustworthy, compassionate with a strong work ethic and genuine love and concern for the well-being of the pets in our care and peace of mind for the pet parents. Excellent time management skills, detail-oriented with a natural drive to provide first-class care. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Own a newer smart phone with internet, email, texting and photo/video capabilities with unlimited data. Comfortable using multiple apps. Respond to email/voicemail/text messages and/or communication in a timely manner through our apps to clients and management. Must have a valid NC driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current car insurance Must have Holiday availability for at least one shift on major holidays (New Years, Easter/Spring Break, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) Live within 5 miles of Summerfield, NC Physical ability to walk dogs, bend, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch to pick up poop and clean litterboxes, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to pass a national and federal criminal background check Able to commit to this position for at least 6 months from the date of hire.
