Petition Circulator

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Petition Circulator to join our team and Bring needed Change to Grand Blanc Township via the Recall of two elected officials. In this role, you will actively engage with community members to gather signatures for petitions. We have sixty days to gather 6,000 petitions. Your enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and ability to connect with Grand Blanc Residents will be essential in motivating supporters and ensuring the success of the recall. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact while developing valuable outreach skills. Responsibilities Engage with community members through door-to-door canvassing, street outreach, and at public events to collect petition signatures. Clearly explain the purpose of the Recall and address questions or concerns from potential supporters with professionalism and transparency. Promote awareness of issues facing Grand Blanc Township. systematically cover territories accross Grand Blanc hopefully in teams. Coordinate with team members to meet daily goals. Assist in organizing signing events/informational sessions to boost campaign visibility and supporter engagement. Uphold respectful customer service standards by building trust and fostering positive relationships with the public. Requirements Prior experience in supervising or leading teams is preferred but not required. Interest in local political action- passion for the recall issues is a huge plus. Excellent communication skills. Experience or interest in door to door canvassing- a fundamental part of political action. Ability to negotiate effectively and handle objections professionally during interactions. Must be energetic, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Join us in making a difference!
