Join Our Team as a Pharmacist In Charge at Best Value Custom Meds! The Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) is responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations, with a primary focus on non-sterile compounding services. This role ensures compliance with all applicable federal and Texas state regulations, maintains high standards of quality and safety, and leads pharmacy staff in delivering accurate, efficient, and patient-centered care. This location operates as a closed door and cash-pay compounding pharmacy and does not bill insurance. This allows the PIC to focus on clinical quality, compounding excellence, and patient care—without the administrative burden of insurance processing, prior authorizations, or PBM-related issues. Daily Responsibilities: Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently Oversee non-sterile compounding processes Ensure adherence to formulas, batch records, and quality standards Monitor and resolve any compounding deviations Providing drug information to patients and healthcare providers Ensuring patient safety through proper medication management Performing visual inspections of medications for accuracy Required Skills: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree Immunization certification Experience in pharmacy operations and prescription filling Strong clinical pharmacy skills Ability to provide patient care and counseling Strong business acumen Company Information: Our stores are owned and operated by pharmacists.
