Minimum Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Pharmacy Technician program, college coursework in science, or equivalent experience (preferred) Associate degree in Materials Management or related field (preferred) Experience 5years Hospital Pharmacy Technician experience (REQUIRED) 2years in pharmaceutical purchasing, contracting, or inventory management (REQUIRED) Experience with hospital pharmacy operations, drug distribution, and supply chain Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred) Key Responsibilities: Pharmaceutical Purchasing & Vendor Management Purchase pharmaceuticals, including Schedule II controlled substances , from wholesalers and manufacturers Maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical reps, wholesalers, and vendors Assist in contract negotiation and purchasing agreements Ensure compliance with DEA, FDA, and hospital policies Inventory Management & Operations Manage pharmacy inventory levels , ensuring optimal stock and minimizing waste Oversee ordering, receiving, unpacking, verification, and storage of medications and supplies Supervise and coordinate annual physical inventory Maintain accurate records of invoices, purchasing, and contracts Compliance & Quality Assurance Monitor and respond to FDA drug recalls Ensure proper charging of floor stock across departments and off-site locations Maintain compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy regulations Oversee expired medication returns and credit reconciliation Process Improvement & Leadership Evaluate pharmacy operations and purchasing systems for efficiency improvements Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training materials Collaborate with p
