This consists of inventory control and management, contract compliance and invoice reconciliation. Pharmacy Buyers function in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines and state and federal regulations. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist. Pharmacy Buyer is responsible for purchasing items at the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity and required specifications.
