Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Clerk/Cashier to join our community pharmacy.This vital role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing pharmacy transactions, and supporting pharmacy operations within a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and experience in pharmacy or healthcare settings.Duties Process patient transactions accurately at the cash register, including billing and insurance documentation.Receive and verify prescription orders from customers Answering phones and directing customers to the correct personnel Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering guidance on pharmacy services, and ensuring a welcoming environment.Ordering product and managing front end inventory Administrative tasks such as bank deposits, filing documents, maintaining records Must be able to work every other Saturday 9:00 am - 12:30 pm Skills Experience in a retail or healthcare environment Strong customer service skills and communication abilities Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation processes.Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Pay:$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits:Paid time off Work Location:In person.
