Job Description Assists pharmacist and prepares medications to be dispensed under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist according to State and Federal law. Experience 6 months IV experience in a healthcare-related field or 4 year college degree Preferred Qualifications 1 year of experience as an IV pharmacy technician in a pediatric hospital pharmacy environment or 2 years of experience as a IV pharmacy technician in a hospital pharmacy environment Education High school diploma Certification Summary Georgia pharmacy technician registration Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficient in reading, writing, and mathematics Knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical terminology Good organizational skills and ability to learn and use computer systems Job Responsibilities Performs all job functions as described in the Pharmacy Technician I job description.
