Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support pharmacists by preparing, dispensing, and managing medications with precision and care. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately. Manage medication intake, inventory control, and ensure proper storage according to safety standards. Support patient care by providing medication information and answering questions related to prescriptions. Perform medication reconciliation and verify prescriptions for accuracy in hospital or LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacy settings. Maintain detailed records of medication administration, inventory logs, and patient interactions while adhering to medical terminology standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication delivery for critical care and acute care patients. Skills Proven experience as a pharmacy technician. Critical care experience is highly desirable, demonstrating ability to handle complex medication regimens. Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and aseptic techniques. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on patient care and safety. Strong organizational skills for managing intake processes, inventory control, and documentation accuracy.
