Pharmacy Technician - Federal Facility - 5 Year Contract

Pharmacy Technician Santa Fe Indian Health Center Santa Fe, New Mexico DT-Trak Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Department at the Santa Fe Indian Health Center. This is a full-time federal contract position supporting direct patient care and pharmacy operations in an outpatient healthcare setting. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM 40 hours per week No overtime authorized Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience Contract Length: Base year with option years available through 2031 Responsibilities: Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and dispensing Fill prescriptions and support medication inventory management Answer phones and assist patients with refill requests Support curbside prescription delivery Assist with vaccine clinic operations when assigned Maintain medication and vaccine inventory records Prepare inventory and expiration reports Support pharmacy workflow and administrative duties Work with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Qualifications: Active Pharmacy Technician Certification required Minimum 2 years of recent Pharmacy Technician experience Current Basic Life Support certification required Ability to pass federal background investigation and fingerprinting Experience in outpatient or hospital pharmacy preferred Experience with ScriptPro, Pyxis, RPMS, or EHR systems preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment Requirements Before Start Date: Background clearance and fingerprinting Immunization documentation TB screening documentation Compliance with all federal contractor onboarding requirements Benefits: Weekly pay Health insurance options Federal holiday schedule Long-term contract stability Dedicated recruiter support About DT-Trak Consulting Inc.
