Pharmacy Technician - Medication Assistance Specialist Overview At St. Luke's, our Pharmacy Technicians play a vital role in delivering outstanding, patient-focused care. St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a Medication Assistance Specialist. These roles help patients access and afford essential medications by securing financial assistance and navigating insurance requirements. You'll collaborate with providers, payers, and internal teams to remove barriers to medication access. Primarily based on-site at St. Luke's, this position focuses on reducing patients' prescription costs by identifying and obtaining support through manufacturer programs, charitable foundations, grants, and St. Luke's Foundation funds. Our Medication Assistance Specialist responsibilities include: Medication AssistTeam: Help patients reduce out-of-pocket costs byidentifyingand securing support through manufacturer programs and St. Luke's Foundation funds.* Identifyand enroll patientsin medicationassistanceprograms. Collaboratewith St. Luke's Foundation to access internal financial support. Conductinsurance and financial reviews. Serve as a liaisonbetween patients, providers, and third-party payers What to expect Location: St. Luke's Plaza Boise - Potential for 1 day a week Hybrid after full, on-site training. Hours: Full-time/ 40 hours week Schedule: M-F, no weekends, no holidays! Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid Idaho Pharmacy Technician Registration 3+ years of experience Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
