Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, including labeling prescriptions accurately and efficiently. Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and proper storage to ensure availability and safety. Perform intake procedures by collecting patient information, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring all documentation is complete. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and ensuring a positive pharmacy experience. Maintain precise records of medication administration, medication reconciliation, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements Prior pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication management. Demonstrated ability to handle intake processes efficiently while maintaining accuracy under pressure. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on patient care and communication. Certification as a pharmacy technician where applicable; ongoing education in medical terminology or pharmacy practice is a plus.
