About the gig We run a small set of vacation rental properties in Vista, California (near San Diego), and we need a photographer who can make them look their best. The properties are real, the business is real, and we're in growth mode. Every shoot adds great work to your portfolio, and your role with us has room to grow over time. Pay: $250 to $500 per shoot Base pay is $250 per shoot. The upper end comes from a performance bonus that kicks in when your photos clearly help a property get more bookings. Better photos lead to more bookings, which means a bigger payout for you, up to roughly double base pay when your work really moves the needle. We pay per shoot, no business setup needed on your end. We'll handle any paperwork together; you don't need an LLC or a registered business. Timing We have a batch of shoots that need to happen in the next few weeks, so this is a great way to jump in and start working right away. After that, the tempo settles into roughly 5 to 10 shoots per year as we add new amenities, refresh staging, or open new properties. Each shoot takes about 3 hours on site, plus editing turnaround within 7 days. What you'll shoot A mix of interiors (rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, amenities), exteriors, and lifestyle and styled-detail shots (welcome baskets, charcuterie boards, fresh flowers, romance setups). Staging is done before you arrive, so you can focus on capturing it. Drone shots are a plus but not required. Backgrounds in event, wedding, portrait, editorial, or food photography are all welcome. We care about your eye and how you light a space. What we want to see A portfolio link. Instagram, Squarespace, Behance, or a Google Drive folder with your best 10 to 15 shots. Whatever shows your style. You don't need A degree. Strong hobbyists are welcome and students are encouraged to apply.
