Physical Therapist ~ Discipline Therapy ~ Shift: 8 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Grants, New Mexico Shift: Days | 8-Hour Shifts Contract Type: Travel Therapy | 13 Weeks Looking for a contract that gives you a strong mix of acute care and outpatient experience while surrounded by some of the most unique scenery in the Southwest? This PT opportunity in Grants, New Mexico offers a broad caseload, supportive hospital environment, and the chance to work closely with patients across multiple stages of recovery. This role is ideal for therapists who enjoy variety, independence, and building strong patient relationships in a community-based setting. New graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply. The Physical Therapist is responsible for restoring function, improving mobility, reducing pain, and helping patients regain independence through individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Caseload includes both inpatient and outpatient populations with a wide variety of orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and general medical conditions. Deliver therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility interventions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case management, and interdisciplinary teams Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program Active New Mexico PT license or eligibility to obtain one Previous inpatient, rehab, or outpatient experience preferred New graduates with strong clinical rotations welcome Strong communication and patient care skills Location Highlights – Grants, NM Grants is located along historic Route 66 in western New Mexico and is known for its incredible desert landscapes, hiking, and outdoor adventure opportunities.
