Job Description
Seeking a board-certified or eligible Physiatrist (PM&R) to provide inpatient rehab care at a Sacramento-based Acute Rehabilitation Unit. Manage a steady caseload of 20+ patients daily, including admission assessments, progress notes, and discharge planning. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and facilitate patient discharges to partnered skilled nursing facilities for continued rehab. Optional rounding at SNFs to ensure continuity of care. Must hold an active CA medical license, DEA registration, and have inpatient rehab experience. Flexible schedule as a 1099 independent contractor with per-patient compensation, offering autonomy and predictable volume.
