Essential Job Functions P.E. Associate Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment. Supervise small group activities in the gymnasium as directed by the physical education teachers in charge. Accompany any student that is hurt or feeling ill during physical education activities to the school nurse's office. Keep the physical education teacher informed of special needs or problems of individual students. Assist in maintaining discipline among students. Participate in staff development training programs to improve job performance. Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teacher. Help the physical education teacher keep administration records and requires reports. Perform other duties as assigned. Schedule(on student attendance days) Daniel Wright (Grades 6-8): Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 3:35 PM *Tentative work schedule Qualifications Illinois Professional Educator License with a Paraprofessional Endorsement required. OR Illinois Substitute Teaching License required Professional Educator License preferred. Salary $17.34/hour - $17.86/hour Benefits Include: Medical (employer covers 93 - 100% depending on choice) Dental Vision Basic Term Life Insurance Sick and Personal Days Referral and Signing Compensation Current employees that refer an individual for open associate, custodial or bus driver positions who is then hired by the district and the new employee remains employed for 60 days will receive a $250 "referral bonus".
