TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 7/1/2026-6/30/2027IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Appropriate Leadership Team MemberFACILITATION SUPPORT: Linda Cullen & Leah PaliottaJOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to work as a productive member of the instructional team to maximize student outcomesConduct in-depth physical therapy evaluations Develop goals and objectives for Individual Educational Plans that address student needs in schoolDevelop recommendations for physical therapy service provision for students at school.Provide physical therapy services to students as specified by their individual IEP or 504 planMaintain data collection employing research-based best practice strategies to demonstrate student progress and adjust student goalsConsultant to classroom staff regarding student needsProvide clinical supervision to physical therapist assistant(s)Responsibility to stay up to date with current physical therapy and educational practicesParticipate in clinical supervision as assignedParticipation in a mentor program that focuses on Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports (PBIS), Social Communication Emotional Regulation Transactional Supports (SCERTS), Collaborative Problem-Solving (CPS) and Deeper Learning approaches.Willingness to offer trainings to staff or other community members on topics of interest.Remain knowledgeable regarding Abuse and Neglect Reporting as a member of SCEC team and provide training to staff.Other duties as required.EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: Participation in mentoring/ training sessions across Collaborative programsOpportunities for job mobility: on-going career counseling; training opportunities; degree/ licensure programs; other professional development opportunitiesPost Job Offer Physical ExaminationInternal candidates are encouraged to review the Unit A Union Contract for stipulations on ESY and Non-Reporting time.
