Now Hiring:Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Home HealthSouth Monterey County Salinas to King City Region Our growing agency is looking for dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our Home Health team! InHome Healthcare Services is rapidly expanding, and we are actively hiring PTAs to support patients throughout the South Monterey County region, including Salinas to King City.We provide care to patients in the comfort of their homes, with a primary focus on the elderly population.We are seeking individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and thrive in a one-on-one patient care environment.This role requires strong time management skills, as you will be responsible for managing your own caseload and traveling between patient homes.If you enjoy providing personalized care outside of a traditional clinical setting, we encourage you to apply.Coverage Area:South Monterey County - Salinas to King City Responsibilities:Assess patient condition during each visit and document observations accurately Perform evaluation tasks, including vital signs and activities of daily living (ADLs) Assess and monitor therapeutic, rehabilitation, and functional status Provide treatment in accordance with the Physical Therapist's Plan of Care Recommend adaptive devices or modifications to improve patient independence and quality of life Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physicians, and other care team members Educate patients and caregivers on home health care strategies and safety Requirements:Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license (Required) Current CPR certification (Required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Current TB clearance Ability to travel to multiple patient homes per day Strong communication and time management skills Compassionate, patient-focused approach Preferred Experience:Minimum 1 year of PTA experience Home health and/or hospice experience preferred, but not required Work Location:Multiple locations within South Monterey County INDMO Pay:$45.00 - $50.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:On the road.
