Setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities, Long-Term Care Communities, and/or Home Health SNF: The Belmont at Twin Creeks - Allen Prairie Estates - Frisco San Remo - Richardson The Madison on Marsh - Carrollton Carrara - Plano HH: Plano, Lewisville, The Colony, McKinney, Carrollton, Coppell, Richardson, Allen, Celina, Little Elm, Prosper, Aubrey, Denton Position Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The PTA implements treatment plans, supports patient progress, and helps patients regain mobility, function, and independence while maintaining compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments in accordance with the established plan of care and under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility, gait training, balance activities, and use of assistive devices Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress, concerns, or changes in condition to the Physical Therapist Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and functional activities to support recovery and independence Accurately document treatments, progress, and patient responses in a timely manner per facility and regulatory guidelines Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-focused care Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations, including HIPAA and infection control standards Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and respect in all patient interactions Qualifications Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing (state-specific) Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or home health preferred (new graduates welcome to apply) Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Why Join Us Flexible part-time schedule Supportive leadership and collaborative care model Opportunity to work across multiple care settings Meaningful work making a direct impact on patient outcomes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are at the heart of Pivot.
