Job Type Full-time Description Since 1995, South Florida Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine has been dedicated to providing comprehensive orthopaedic and musculoskeletal care for patients along southeast Florida's Treasure Coast. As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the outstanding Physical Therapy team in our Stuart office. Supporting patient-focused care, the PTA will assist Physical Therapists with direct care of patients following injury or surgery to regain range of movement. You will follow plans created by PTs that involve stretching, strength training and physical manipulation. The PTA documents the patient chart and reports progress to the PT. This is a full-time position, Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, in our Stuart office. Must possess outstanding communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and profession with patients, family, and clinical team. Able to comply with all OSHA, HIPAA, BBP, and other protocols. Must be organized and able to multi-task in a high patient volume environment. EMR/PM experience strongly preferred. Uses EMR functions to ensure consistent and accurate documentation.
