PT for West Palm Beach Clinic LOCATION: Palm Beach, FL Start: End of June or early July *They have a great onboarding plan – first 2 – 2.5 days are orientation and onboarding before they see any patients CLIENT: Gold Coast Physical Therapy - previous Fyzical clinic SETTING: OP ortho & vestibular START DATE: Open to end of June or July GUARANTEE: 37 hours but scheduled for 40 hours + could possibly do 38 hours if that would help ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: 13-17 weeks REQUESTED EXPERIENCE: Open to new grads, great at training Do not need to have vestibular experience – will train or can give the cases to other PTs or PTAs if needed too Would prefer someone with at least 3-6 months of exp, but open if they have the right clinical experience and personality STAFF: Other PTs, PTAs, techs, athletic trainers, etc. at clinic - # of other staff members vary by location – can discuss on interview EMR: PT PracticePro *3 hr webbased training for their system before they start, unpaid but very helpful to have CASELOAD / PATIENT SCHEDULING: half new patient, half retreats, so would evaluate about 17-18 a week on average. would need them to be comfortable with the patient volume, 60 min patient visits, 1-2 start on the hour and do work with multiple PTAs, Tech, Athletic Trainers, etc. About a 50/50 split between OP ortho and vestibular SCHEDULE: M-F – times may vary, can discuss on interview Usually some shorter and some longer days – 3/10s and 2/5s Some clinics are open to 4/10s schedules, some aren’t, can discuss on interview ADDITIONAL INFO: Great client – have multiple travelers there at any given time and all really enjoy the staff, clients, and atmosphere *They have a great onboarding plan – first 2 – 2.5 days are orientation and onboarding before they see any patients LOCATION HIGHLIGHTS: Palm Beach is on the eastern side of FL – beautiful, right on the water with tons to do! Not needed TAKE HOME BILL RATE: $66 - could possibly do $67 if that would help for someone with experience and flexibility (nothing off the top)
