Primary Duties: Provides direct PT evaluations and re-evaluations, including assessment of prior and current level of functioning, setting 60;appropriate goals 60;and making 60;appropriate discharge 60;recommendations 60;in accordance with 60;standards of practice. 60;Provides 60;direct PT treatments according to standards of practice, including patient and family education, progression of treatment plan and implementation of 60;appropriate therapeutic 60;interventions Utilizes 60;appropriate documentation 60;forms and abides by PM&R’s documentation standards. 60;Collaborates with physicians and other members of health care teams 60;relative 60;to patient treatment and progress and other affiliated agencies 60;regarding 60;effective discharge planning. Coordinates and prioritizes own schedule in relation to demands of patient treatment and other departmental responsibilities. Demonstrates proper use and maintenance of department equipment and supplies. Maintains CEUs (Continuing Education Unit) per state requirement for continued professional competency. Adheres to all Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations with regards to the physical environment and patient care. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in 60;physical 60;therapy. 1-2 years 60;related clinical practice experience in an acute care or rehabilitation facility. APTA - Physical Therapy Current 60;D.C 60;(District 60;of Columbia). license or qualified candidate for 60;DC 60;license. BLS (Basic Life Support). This position has a hiring range of : USD $60.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
