Apply now and a recruiter will reach out with more details. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Physical Therapist license required in the state of Virginia upon submittal. Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC required. Clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics or outpatient clinic settings preferred. Experience treating post-operative total knee patients and coverage of small med/surg or same-day surgery patients preferred. Ability to see an average caseload of approximately 7–8 patients per day. Willingness to provide occasional inpatient coverage and to participate in on-call weekend rotation as required by the client (currently approximately every 4th weekend). Certification in specialty areas (OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, Women’s Health) preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital (primarily outpatient clinic with possible small med/surg and same-day surgery coverage). Shift Name: Days. Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. On-call: Currently every fourth weekend for inpatient coverage. Caseload: Approximately 7–8 patients per day on average. State License: Virginia license required to start the assignment. The city offers access to the Blackwater River with boating and fishing opportunities and is about 40 minutes from the Atlantic coastal waterways near Suffolk and the Hampton Roads region. Franklin provides a quieter, small-city lifestyle with nearby outdoor recreation at Lake Drummond in the Great Dismal Swamp and local cultural sites such as the Franklin Southampton History Museum within short drives. Commuting to larger urban centers is feasible, with downtown Norfolk and Virginia Beach reachable in roughly 45–60 minutes by car for additional dining and entertainment options.
