Job Description
Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Raceland, LA at an outpatient facility where you will support pediatric patients to recover, reach developmental milestones, and manage neuromuscular or musculoskeletal conditions. Apply now and a recruiter will reach out with more details. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA. Active Louisiana State PT license required prior to the start of the assignment. BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Minimum one year of pediatric physical therapy experience accepted. Experience with developmental delay, torticollis, brachial plexus injury, toe walking, or similar pediatric diagnoses preferred. Comfort working in an outpatient pediatric therapy environment. Experience with pediatric evaluation and intervention, family-centered care, and common pediatric equipment is preferred. Client requires that staff may be assigned to an Emergency Team by the unit manager and must be willing to remain at the facility or serve on relief teams during emergency events. Unit will accept first-time travelers. Assignment Details Facility type: Outpatient. Shift name: Days. Shift schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 09:00–17:30; Wednesday 08:00–16:30; Friday 08:00–16:30. Shift pattern: Day 5x8-hour. Patient population: Pediatrics.
