Physical Therapy Assistant or PT

Responsibilities Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions Escort patients to and from therapy sessions Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and billing Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas Provide excellent patient service and ensure patient comfort and safety Requirements: Previous experience working as a physical therapy aide or in a similar role preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Familiarity with acute care settings and hospital procedures Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment Ability to follow instructions and carry out tasks effectively Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
