Job Summary and Qualifications Physical Therapy Assistant (ACUTE CARE) - PRN / Per Diem / As Needed As a Physical Therapy Assistant at HCA Healthcare, you’ll improve the lives of patients by providing individualized care that restores mobility and independence. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence What qualifications you will need: State Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant Associate Degree Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date HCA Florida Capital Hospital is your one-stop solution for all your healthcare needs.
