Job Summary Join our PT team as a Physical Therapy Aide, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and enhancing their rehabilitation experience. This energetic position involves assisting licensed physical therapists and clinicians in delivering exceptional patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute care settings. Duties Assist physical therapists with patient setup, positioning, and mobility exercises to facilitate effective treatment sessions Prepare treatment areas by cleaning equipment, arranging supplies, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Support patient intake procedures by collecting preliminary information and documenting basic health details under supervision Monitor patient comfort during therapy sessions and report any concerns or changes to the clinical team promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces, equipment, and supplies to uphold hygiene standards Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments or updating patient records as directed Observe and learn from clinical staff to deepen understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapy practices Requirements Prior experience working in hospital settings or clinics is highly preferred, especially in inpatient or outpatient environments Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support effective communication with healthcare professionals Demonstrated commitment to patient service and care, with a compassionate attitude towards diverse patient populations including geriatrics and orthopedics Experience with acute care or post-acute care settings such as sub-acute or hospital medicine is advantageous Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a lively and proactive approach to daily tasks Excellent organizational skills with an eye for cleanliness and safety standards in clinical environments Must be adaptable to fast-paced settings like outpatient clinics or inpatient units, demonstrating flexibility across different care scenarios This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in physical therapy while contributing directly to patient recovery journeys.
