Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Technician and become a vital part of patient recovery and rehabilitation. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient intake, including gathering medical histories and explaining procedures to ensure comfort and understanding Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, maintaining cleanliness and organization Support patients during therapeutic exercises by demonstrating movements and providing encouragement under supervision Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, documenting progress and any concerns for review by the therapist Maintain accurate records of patient care activities, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations Assist with inventory management of therapy supplies and equipment to ensure availability for daily operations Support hospital or clinic staff by facilitating communication between patients, therapists, and other healthcare providers Experience Prior experience working in hospital settings or outpatient clinics is highly desirable Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices Experience supporting inpatient or post-acute care patients across orthopedic, geriatrics, or sub-acute care populations Familiarity with acute care environments and hospital medicine workflows enhances effectiveness in this role Demonstrated commitment to patient service and compassionate care in diverse healthcare settings Previous exposure to outpatient therapy or clinic environments is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in healthcare support while making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.
