Physician Assistant Job Description COMPETITIVE SALARY Job Summary: We are currently looking for a new graduate or experienced PA for a very busy orthopedic practice. Part time position . We have offices in Woodbury, Melville, West Islip and Patchogue but need to travel all over the island. Very competitive salary, no weekends. Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate medical treatment under the supervision of a licensed physician Assist in surgical procedures and minor surgeries as needed Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment options Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Participate in care and provide support to pediatric patients Utilize and effectively in daily practice Assist in managing operations to ensure efficient workflow Provide compassionate and comprehensive to individuals of all ages Skills: Strong understanding of medical principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in medical software and technology Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Prior experience in outpatient care settings is preferred Certification as a Physician Assistant is required This position offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for professional development.
