How you’ll make an impact in this role Ascension Illinois is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician for our Family Medicine Department. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Illinois to provide medical services to patients. Position Highlights Great opportunity in a busy outpatient Family Medicine practice See 20+ patients per day No inpatient rounding required Patient friendly hours, 1 Saturday per month and 1 evening per week (Monday) Nice mix of patients and cases Beautiful office setting on hospital campus Excellent office support staff MA support Great Northwest Suburban location Responsibilities: Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area. Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Participate in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested. Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner. Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
