How you’ll make an impact in this role Ascension Wamego Health Center is looking for a BC/BE family medicine physician to join our team in Wamego, KS. Position Highlights Great opportunity to join an established practice in Wamego, KS Provide full spectrum family medicine an outpatient setting, caring for patients of all ages Enjoy a environment that values teamwork and professional growth Responsibilities Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area. Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Participate in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested. Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner. Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules. What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
