Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. For more information, refer to Required Documents below. Duties We are looking for a skilled Physician - Diagnostic Radiologist in Fredericksburg, VA. Diagnostic Radiologists are responsible for providing appropriate diagnostic radiology care to patients. Diagnostic Radiologist Physicians are physicians who have completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited Radiology residency program, or an equivalent foreign program, and who perform and interpret diagnostic imaging, interventional or nuclear medicine studies. Radiologists follow the guidelines of the American College of Radiology (ACR), and they are guided by the Appropriateness Criteria developed by ACR or Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI). The Fredericksburg Veterans Affairs Health Care Center offers a comprehensive range of outpatient services for Veterans in the Northern Virginia and Central Virginia area, including Primary Care and Mental Health services.
