Pediatric Nocturnist with Banner Childrens. Become part of a collaborative, dynamic community hospitalist team committed to delivering exceptional inpatient care for pediatric patients and newborns! Banner Children's Specialists (BCS) is seeking a Pediatric Nocturnist to provide inpatient care for children and newborns at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa. Care for pediatric inpatients and newborns at a community-based hospital with robust specialist support. ~ Night shift is 7pm-7am. Competitive base salary with wRVU productivity incentives and night shift differential. Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Pediatrics Board certification in pediatric hospital medicine is not required. New residency graduates are encouraged to apply! Banner Children's at Desert was designed Through the Eyes of a Child, meaning it has all the comforts of home and does not feel institutional. The hospital is meant to inspire healing, learning, and imagination. Our Child Life professionals play an active role in ensuring children feel safe and prepared for the hospital experience. Non-procedure zones, such as the Forever Young Zone, Sophies Place, and the Big Outside, are used for music, play therapy, respite, and relaxation. This hospital has a 120 bed Level 3 NICU staffed by Neonatologists along with a 24 bed PICU with 24/7 in-house intensivist coverage. Over 3000 deliveries a year at Banner Desert Medical Center. Well-trained social services staff and numerous integrative therapy programs ensure a complete range of care for children. Opportunities to work with medical students and residents from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, if desired.
