This full-time inpatient role offers a balanced 7 on / 7 off schedule, providing an excellent work-life balance in a supportive, non-trauma hospital setting with strong infrastructure. The position involves managing approximately 12-15 patients daily during daytime hours, collaborating closely with intensivists within an open ICU, and participating in a dedicated hospitalist team. Opportunity Details Location: Rome, NY Setting: Inpatient, non-trauma community hospital Schedule: 7 AM – 7 PM, 7 on / 7 off Duration: 2-week contract, with potential for permanent placement Hours Per Week: 40 hours Start Date: 10/27/2025 Clinical Scope Provide inpatient care during shifts, including daily rounds Manage 12-15 patients per day within a team caring for 40-50 patients collectively Admit patients, handle rapid responses and codes Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU with 24/7 consultation support Conduct patient assessments, histories, physicals, and documentation using Paragon EMR Coordinate care with hospital staff and specialists No on-call duties; work in a hospital without trauma designation Why Rhino Medical?
