Job Description Neonatologist – Full-Time | Level III NICU | Lexington, KY Seeking a full-time Neonatologist to join a collaborative and well-supported Level III NICU team in Lexington, Kentucky. Practice Setting 32-bed Level III NICU - Approximately 4,000 annual deliveries - Busy newborn nursery service - Collaborative team consisting of 2 Neonatologists and 2 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners during daytime hours - 24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage - Home-based night call responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive neonatal care in the NICU and newborn nursery - Perform and maintain proficiency in neonatal procedures - Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care - Participate in mentorship, professional development, and quality care initiatives Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - Kentucky medical license or willingness to obtain - DEA required prior to start - Clean malpractice and licensure history strongly preferred - NPDB self-query report dated within 30 days required at presentation - Must reside locally to the practice location - Open to new graduates - Visa sponsorship is not available Organization Highlights: Supportive, collegial practice environment - Strong emphasis on provider well-being and professional growth - Comprehensive, multidisciplinary clinical support
