Additional Job Description: West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Neurology seek a Neurologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Weirton, WV. Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of neurology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching residents. Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed neurology residency program and be board eligible/certified in neurology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Weirton Medical Center is an acute care, 240-bed institution (187 acute care beds, 20 adult psychiatric beds, and 33 skilled care beds) serving the Northern panhandle of West Virginia, Eastern Ohio, and suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
