Job Description Oncology Physician Opportunity – Brattleboro, Vermont Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Oncology Physician to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary cancer care team. This position focuses on providing patient-centered oncology services in an outpatient clinic setting while serving patients across southeastern Vermont and surrounding regions of New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Position Details Diagnose and stage various cancers through clinical evaluations, imaging, and laboratory testing - Develop and manage individualized treatment plans utilizing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and coordination with radiation oncology - Monitor treatment progress and manage therapy-related side effects - Provide supportive care and patient/family education throughout the treatment process - Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, oncology nurses, nurse practitioners, and oncology navigators to deliver coordinated care - Participate in clinical trials, research initiatives, and quality improvement projects - Contribute to departmental initiatives and mentor clinical staff as needed - Maintain knowledge of current oncology guidelines and treatment advancements Requirements: MD or DO from an accredited medical school - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology - Active Vermont medical license (required prior to start) - Clean malpractice and license history - Current NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation Additional Notes: Part-time outpatient position - Not open to locum or locum-to-permanent candidates - Visa sponsorship is not available - Candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance - Opportunity to work within a supportive, community-focused hospital environment
