Position Details Location: Northern California, between the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley and Sacramento Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only Call Ratio: Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites Daily Patient Census: 18 patients per day Equipment/Resources: Access to state‑of‑the‑art equipment and comprehensive resources Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Primary Responsibilities Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment Recommend and order tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition Monitor lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicities Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatments with the patient Refer patients to medical specialists when necessary Represent the practice at hospital committees, ensuring burden of attending meetings is reasonably distributed among physicians Collaborate and manage APPs Qualifications MD or DO degree Board‑certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California Proven experience in a primary care setting Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment Compensation and Perks Income guarantee: $330,000 (years 1‑2) Sign‑on bonus up to $50,000 Relocation assistance for qualified candidates up to $20,000 Retention bonus (beginning year 2) $30,000 CME/Dues up to $8,000 annually Production incentive available Program completion stipend available to qualified candidates Quality incentive program at year 3 A positive work‑life balance Collaborative and energized clinical teams
