Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive piano curricula tailored to individual student needs, skill levels, and learning goals Deliver engaging, energetic lessons that motivate students and enhance their technical skills, musicality, and performance confidence Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a respectful, inclusive, and focused learning environment Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance techniques Provide constructive feedback to students to encourage progress and address challenges promptly Organize recitals or performances to showcase student achievements and boost their confidence Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and attendance to track development over time Skills Strong background in piano performance with the ability to teach various styles and genres Experience in curriculum development tailored for different age groups including children, teens, and adults Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels Classroom management expertise to create a positive, disciplined learning environment Knowledge of early childhood education principles and preschool experience is a plus Ability to incorporate additional arts such as theater or dance into lessons for holistic artistic development Familiarity with behavior management techniques and childhood development concepts Skills in lesson planning that align with educational standards and individual student needs Experience working with children or special education populations is advantageous Additional talents such as photography, sewing, culinary arts or ballet are welcomed but not required; they can enrich creative teaching approaches Join us as a Piano Instructor where your musical expertise meets your passion for teaching!
