Picker/Metal Sorter/Laborer-2nd shift (Reidsville, NC)

Foss Recycling is seeking a dedicated Metal Sorter/Picker to join our team at our Reidsville, NC shredder facility.In this role, you'll work at the heart of our metal recycling operation, sorting materials on a conveyor belt to ensure quality and efficiency in processing scrap metal.Responsibilities:Sort and separate metals and non-metallic materials from the conveyor belt.Identify and remove contaminants to maintain material purity.Assist in keeping the shredder line running smoothly and efficiently.Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.Safety Requirements:Wear provided personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and gloves.Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.Participate in regular safety training and briefings.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting.Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.and performing repetitive tasks.Comfortable working in varying temperatures and around dust/noise.No experience required--training provided!
