Company Overview Bad Ass Pickles, a small-batch, hand-crafted pickle company, is looking for an enthusiastic Farmers Market and Event Associates (18+) to help us grow our family business! The Pickle Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while representing Bad Ass Pickles at farmers markets and special events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, representing a local brand, and thriving in a fast-paced, fun, and customer-facing environment. Job Type Part-time Pay $15–$20 per hour, based on experience Commission available when sales goals are met Schedule Thursday and Saturdays required Sunday opportunities available Additional event days as available Responsibilities Greet customers and provide a friendly, welcoming experience Offer samples and explain product offerings Accurately process cash and card transactions Prepare and package customer orders Load, unload, move, and organize heavy materials, including product and equipment Setup and breakdown of market booths Make local deliveries as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales area Adhere to all food safety and cleanliness standards Represent the Bad Ass Pickles brand in a positive and professional manner Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Strong communication and customer service skills Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor Reliable and punctual Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Able to be on feet for long periods of time Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Additional Requirements Must be willing to participate in a one-hour working interview at our kitchen Must provide a driving record Preferred Qualifications Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience, but willing to train the right person Experience handling cash or point-of-sale (POS) systems Benefits Free pickles!
