Caledonia Excavating is looking for a pipe layer/general laborer to join our team.Starting pay based on experience, but ranges from $22-$28 an hour.Full benefits (Health, Life, Dental, 401k matching, PTO, Holiday Pay) as well as being eligible for a yearly performance based bonus. Duties - Install and repair underground pipelines for water, sanitary sewer, and storm water systems- Prepare trenches and ditches for pipe installation- Align and position pipes according to blueprints and specifications- Test pipes for leaks and ensure proper functionality- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders and bulldozers to assist with pipe installation - Raising castings, straw matting and other miscellaneous finish work associated with the job Experience encouraged, but willing to train on site.Employee will be working on our main pipe crew with GPS enabled equipment.We pride ourselves in a great work environment and an organized job site.www.caledoniaexcavating.com Job Type:Full-time Pay:$22.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute:Caledonia, MI 49316 (Required) Work Location:In person.
