Pipe Layer Underground Utilities (Experienced)

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Experienced Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for laying pipelines for water, gas, and other utilities, ensuring that installations are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work in various outdoor environments. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of pipelines and utility systems. Excavate trenches using heavy equipment such as bulldozers, front loader trucks, and forklifts. Ensure that all pipelines are plumb and aligned correctly during installation. Operate heavy equipment safely while adhering to all safety regulations on the construction site. Conduct utility locating to avoid existing underground utilities during excavation. Collaborate with team members to dig trenches and install pipes according to project specifications. Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of pipeline installation (water, sewer, storm drain) techniques and utility locating methods. Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings related to pipeline projects. Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavator and skid steer. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to completing projects on time and within specifications. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with excavation and installation activities. Pipe assembly. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols.
