Job Summary Join our dynamic pipeline construction team as a Crew Lead/Laborer and take charge of building vital infrastructure with energy and precision! In this role, you will lead and assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project. Your hands-on expertise and leadership will drive successful project completion while fostering a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the pipeline construction crew, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks to assist with trenching, pipe laying, and site preparation Read and interpret construction blueprints, technical drawings, and pipe laser measurements to ensure precise installation Perform concrete finishing work and concrete forming to support pipeline foundations and related structures Conduct utility locating to identify underground utilities before excavation to prevent damage or accidents Weld components as needed for pipe connections or structural support following safety standards Assist with piping connections and ensure proper alignment of pipelines according to specifications Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks in a construction setting Skilled in blueprint reading, pipe laser use, concrete finishing, welding, and concrete forming techniques Knowledge of pipeline installation processes within oil & gas or utility industries is highly desirable Ability to read construction plans accurately and follow detailed instructions Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites including utility locating procedures Prior experience working with pipeline systems or in oil & gas projects is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to lead by example while supporting crew members in their tasks Join us in building essential infrastructure that powers communities!
