Pizza Cook

The Pizza Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality pizzas while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency in the kitchen. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of dough handling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while upholding food safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards. Stretch, top, and bake pizzas to order using deck, conveyor, or wood-fired ovens. Ensure all pizzas are cooked and presented consistently and meet quality expectations. Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices at all times. Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to ensure product quality. Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift. Assist with daily prep including cutting vegetables, preparing proteins, and portioning ingredients. Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure timely execution of orders. Follow kitchen opening and closing procedures. Assist with inventory control and notify supervisors when ingredients need to be replenished. Qualifications: Previous experience as a pizza cook, line cook, or similar kitchen role preferred. Knowledge of pizza dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment. Strong attention to detail and consistency. Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
