Responsibilities Prepare high-quality pizzas by following established recipes and food safety standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every slice. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and food prep tools. Manage cash register operations to process orders accurately and swiftly. Greet customers warmly, take their orders with enthusiasm, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience. Handle food handling duties including sanitation, food safety compliance, and proper food storage practices. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to sanitation protocols. Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies, restocking ingredients, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations are essential. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry is highly valued. Ability to manage time effectively while balancing multiple responsibilities during busy hours.
