Responsibilities Operate pizza ovens efficiently to produce consistently high-quality pizzas, maintaining proper cooking times and temperatures. Prepare pizza dough, toppings, sauces, and other ingredients according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to food safety standards and sanitation regulations. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or ingredient combinations to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including the oven area, utensils, and storage spaces. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and ensure timely order fulfillment. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking to management promptly. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within the food industry or restaurant environment. Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling techniques essential for efficient meal preparation. Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices to ensure a safe working environment. Experience with menu planning, catering, or fine dining settings is a plus. Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests and supporting colleagues.
