Fox Energy Specialists is a seeking organized and self-motivated candidates to manage the daily operation of Plan Review Department.The Plans Review Manager ensures energy modeling plan review compliance and accuracy.Provides and leads team in technical review of construction plans, inspection sheets, building specifications, manufacturers specs and reports (residential & commercial) for compliance with energy efficiency, Code and Green Building Programs.Primary Responsibilities:Prioritizes and assigns daily and periodic incoming plans for energy modeling and reporting to clients and monitors assigned workflow.Monitors and reports productivity of team.Downloads electronic files from clients and saves required house data on server.Ensures all energy code and above code program data are archived in electronic house files.Conducts energy modeling and records data in REMRate, Ekotrope or IC3 and company proprietary software to perform daily assigned tasks.Provides output reports to clients and archives reports internally.Performs and monitors accuracy of assigned team for architectural take-offs from scaled drawings of homes and multi-family buildings as wells as data entry for reports.Ensure software upgrades are installed to meet upgrade deadlines.Consults with clients and account manager to provide alternative strategies to meet energy code or green building requirements.Oversees production and delivery to the client or field operations, of labels and certifications associated with programs such as energy code compliance, and above code and green programs.Reports include TVLB, Tax Credit, EEM's, and other reports supported by REMRate, Ekotrope and/or company software.Reviews builder client specification forms to ensure minimum standards are maintained and coordinates with appropriate/applicable staff to ensure files are properly prepared.Ensures all billable plan reviews are properly reported for invoicing.Prepares special reports for management or clients.Prepares special projects such as required (i.e., 45L Tax Credit analysis and reporting, Energy Cost Comparisons, and Scenario Modeling).Monitors team members' participation to ensure the training they are being provided is being put into use, and to see if any additional training is needed.Manages plan review team to provide technical support to inspectors daily to ensure smooth flow of inspection data is maintained.Leads staff meetings routinely to ensure industry and company processes/procedures always stay consistent.Pay:$23.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) matching Bereavement leave Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Application Question(s):HERS Rater & International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) Certification (Residential and Commercial Plans Examiner) Preferred Work Location:In person.
